I blame Claudia Kishi

So I never realized that Nick linked my blog from his blog. He mentioned that fact on saturday and I said “What? I thought this thing just had like one reader and I was nameless!”

Not that I think anyone actually reads this, but I’ve locked up a bunch of old posts to save unknowing readers from the bitching.

I suppose this blog will be less ‘introspective thought’ (hah!) and more superficial whatever (not that it wasn’t that already). I can only promise a 5% reduction in the whining, but you get 50% more filler! What a deal! One day only!

Wow, what an original title for my first journal entry.

But maybe that’s just me. Lacking non-originality and all that other good stuff.
I have no idea why I have this blog. Or more to the point, no idea how I would use it as I do not go on interesting adventures filled with ancient cups, snakes, and fighting the nazi and really every journal needs a theme.

Mine would be: I worked. Yay. And then went to the pottery barn to buy more picture frames. Or whatever. It would be a stunning example of being a surbanite, except for the fact that I make an hourly wage and I’ve never shopped at the pottery barn. Not by choice, but really the only thing I can ever really afford to buy furniture-wise might be Ikea and even that would be stretching the budget and leave me with peanut butter straight out of the jar for dinner for the next three months.

Good thing I still live at home.

I don’t think I could ever do a theme-blog, although who wouldn’t love another theme-blog, only because I would lose interest pretty fast. Maybe I could do a collage-blog of sorts. Random entries, lists, goals, cryptic one letter entries, it could all be here!

I like the idea of a goal blog, but I think in reality it would depress me as I would never get it done.
feh. I’m already over thinking this.
