You know what happens when you forget your user name?
You can’t log in!
Also that’s a way lame excuse because I could have asked the Beau and he would have told me. Also I just did do that and he did indeed know.
So quick recap of my year:
I was employed and then laid off five months later. I hear there are still some layoffs going on, so that sucks for those people at my former work place. I was a statistic for 3 months and luckily received an interview that although I prepared for, I was way unprepared for this interview. But it’s okay cause I got an offer and supposedly start on Monday. And for those that all are incredulous at my luck, I will say that from August 2007 – May 2008 with the exception of temp assignments here and there (only TWO of them), I was way unemployed. I even got rejected from Starbucks. And so occasionally I manage to have a bit of good chance here and there.
And really I thought about updating this thing, but I lack focus. I mean there are a lot of blogs out there focusing on the fashion world and the like and here I am like ‘I like dresses’. Also the lack of a high paying salary/salary at all didn’t help the muse. It is my intention to try and update this thing a little bit more than all of 2008. So far I think it’s about even. But I’m probably going to have really good intentions (like every project I start), but no follow through.
Oh well…
